In 1928, they formed B.H. Timber, which acquired and managed valuable timberland in Southwest Louisiana. In the following few decades, BH Timber acquired nearly 20,000 acres of timberland. Currently, B. H. Timber owns and manages timberland in Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Evangeline, Jeff Davis, Rapides, and Vernon; and in the Livingston and St. Helena parishes of Southeast Louisiana.
