1918- Farmer’s Land and Canal Company

In 1918, Mr. Weber purchased sixteen sections of land and started Farmer’s Land and Canal Company. The company’s focus was growing various crops and managing a canal system which they used to sell water to other rice farmers. Synchronized perfectly, Farmer’s Land and Canal Company planted and harvested the rough rice, while Farmer’s Rice Mill milled it.
