1955- Midsouth Insurance Agency

The ‘50s was also a great decade for The Powell Group due to their entry into the insurance industry.  Frank Pruitt, who had extensive knowledge and expertise from that particular industry, obtained financing from The Powell Group and opened Midsouth Insurance Agency. Midsouth soon became the biggest insurance company in Louisiana.
